Mr. Boaitey graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1993 with a BA in mathematics. He originally joined Robert Hughes Associates in the fall of 1995 as an actuarial consultant. He is a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) and earned his Associate of the Casualty Actuary Society (ACAS) in the spring of 2001.

He began his actuarial career with Alexander & Alexander in Dallas, Texas, where he served as an actuarial analyst. His duties with A & A included, but were not limited to; estimating loss development factors, estimating Incurred But Not Reported (IBNR) in loss reserves, and forecasting and analysis of expenses by premium. He has also developed return on equity models for state rate filings.

Mr. Boaitey later joined the Kemper National Insurance Company in Illinois. While with Kemper his position was actuarial analyst in their workers’ compensation department. His expertise included estimating workers’ compensation reserves using simulation and retention level analysis.

Mr. Boaitey's responsibilities include rate adequacy and reserve funding studies for self-insured funds, captive insurance companies and commercial insurance companies. He is now an associate at RHA and serves as our senior actuary.
