Mr. Cerone has a wide range of insurance industry experience. He formed his own consulting practice in 1998 following significant years of service with insurance companies and leading consulting firms. As a consultant he has advised insurers, self-insureds, regulators, governments, and buyers and sellers of insurance companies. He has served as an expert witness, umpire, arbitrator and an appointed Federal Court Special Master. 

Jim has served as executive vice president of the Travelers Property Casualty Corporation. His background includes being a vice president and consultant at Tillinghast, Kramer Capital Consultants, and an equity principal at Milliman, USA. He has also held senior executive positions with Commercial Union, John Hancock and American Reserve insurance companies. He is experienced in providing consulting/expert witness services on matters including, but not limited to, property/casualty insurance, coverage, claims, claims handling, bad faith, case reserving, claims adjusting and claims management.
